Backs up everything
Windows, macOS and Linux computers and servers, VMware and Hyper-V virtual machines, and Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data are all backed up from the same console. Backups can be kept on local storage, in the Acronis cloud or in both.
Stops ransomware
Behaviour-based protection detects and stops processes that try to encrypt files en masse, and can automatically restore the affected files. Backups are also protected against unauthorised changes.
Closes vulnerabilities
Vulnerability scanning finds out-of-date operating systems and applications. Patch management closes these vulnerabilities centrally; an automatic backup is taken before patching, keeping a way back open in case an update causes problems.
Restores the entire system
You can restore anything from a single file to a complete system; the system can also be moved to different hardware or to a virtual machine.

Frequently asked questions
Do we need to remove our existing antivirus?
No. Acronis’s protection layers can be configured to work alongside an existing antivirus. We check for conflicts during installation.
Isn’t Microsoft 365 data already held by Microsoft?
Microsoft ensures the continuity of the infrastructure, but you are responsible for long-term backups of data that is deleted or encrypted by ransomware. That is why we recommend backing up Microsoft 365 data separately.
