What does ESET PROTECT do?
Tiers chosen to fit your needs
Entry includes malware protection, device control and anti-phishing for Windows, macOS and Linux endpoints and for Windows and Linux servers. Advanced adds full disk encryption, cloud analysis of suspicious files with ESET LiveGuard Advanced, file recovery after ransomware, and mobile threat defence. Complete builds on Advanced with vulnerability and patch management, Exchange server protection and cloud application protection for Microsoft 365 applications.
Attack monitoring and response: ESET Inspect
The Enterprise tier adds ESET Inspect, ESET’s XDR component, to Advanced. It makes suspicious processes, lateral movement between devices and the attack chain visible; responses such as isolating a device from the network are carried out from the console.
Everything in one: Elite
Elite combines all the components of Complete with ESET Inspect and multi-factor authentication (ESET Secure Authentication). A second verification step is added alongside the password for remote desktop and VPN sign-ins.
Management in the cloud or on-premises
The tiers can be managed from the cloud-based ESET PROTECT console or from ESET PROTECT On-Prem installed on your own server. For organisations that want to limit external dependency, the on-premises option provides valuable flexibility.
ESET PROTECT with Unna
Although the tier names are similar, their contents differ. Patch management is included in Complete, whereas in Enterprise it is purchased as an add-on. XDR, on the other hand, is in Enterprise but not in Complete. The right choice is made by looking at your needs.

Frequently asked questions
Complete or Enterprise?
Complete, if patch management and Exchange and Microsoft 365 protection are your priority. Enterprise, if you have a team to investigate and respond to attacks and you need XDR. If you need both, Elite.
Are mobile devices covered too?
Mobile threat defence is included in Advanced and higher tiers. Coverage depends on the tier and the number of licences.
Does it work on a network without internet access?
With ESET PROTECT On-Prem, management stays on your own server. Cloud-based components, however, require internet access; we clarify the scope together before installation.
