Servers run quietly, until they stop
Domain controller, file server, ERP and accounting database. Every user in the business connects to these servers every day, yet no one thinks about them. Updates are postponed, disks fill up, and no one checks whether the backups are working. Then one morning the system will not start.
Server management turns this silence into a deliberate routine: correct installation, regular maintenance, continuous monitoring and tested backups.
What do we manage?
Installation and configuration
Installation of physical and virtual Windows Server and Linux servers, configuration of their roles and security hardening. A new server is handed over already included in monitoring and backup from day one.
Server roles
- Domain controller: Central management of users, computers and permissions.
- File server: Department-based folders and permission-based access.
- Application and ERP servers: High-performing, secure operation of your business applications and databases.
- Backup server: The hub where backups of all systems are gathered and managed.
Maintenance and updates
Operating system and application updates are tested and applied in planned maintenance windows. Disk, performance and event logs are reviewed regularly.
Cloud servers
We manage your servers on Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud with the same care as your on-premises servers.
How do we work?
- We listen first. We take an inventory of your existing servers, their roles, hardware condition and licences.
- We plan together. We set improvement priorities, maintenance windows and the scope of monitoring.
- We implement. We apply missing updates, harden security settings and put backup and monitoring in place.
- We stay by your side. With 24/7 monitoring and reachable support, we often step in on problems before you even notice them.
Part of the whole
- With virtualisation, we run your servers on less hardware with higher availability.
- With network and server monitoring, we track the health of every server on a single screen.
- With backup and disaster recovery, we secure your servers’ way back.
- With identity and access management solutions (ADManager Plus, PAM360), we keep control of who accesses your servers and how.
- We assess together whether your servers should stay in the office or in a data centre.
Frequently asked questions
Should we replace our old server?
An operating system whose vendor support has ended, or hardware out of warranty, carries security and continuity risks. In the inventory work, we present these risks and the replacement options together with their costs.
Do you manage Linux servers too?
Yes. Alongside Windows Server, we also manage servers running on common Linux distributions.
